Mitac, a company known for its products systems GPS Magellan and Mio and for PC motherboard Tyan has entered the market a tablet. At the CeBIT show recently in Germany, Mitac Announces four tablets Android 2.3: the first is Mitac Zeus, a six-inch model with a GPS receiver, seven-inch multimedia tablet & ten inch Velar, and Ulmo tablet waterproof measuring seven-inch.
Mitac Zeus with dual GPS receiver provides precise satellite position and not bothered though tablets are in the position vertically or horizontally.
Mitac Valar supports FullHD 1080p video playback and HDMI output connection so that it can be shown on a larger screen. Mitac Valar also equipped with GPS receivers and stereo speakers.
Mitac Valar and Mitac Ulmo also supports playback of 1080p video and stereo speakers. Its uniqueness is that the tablet is waterproof. The Tablet is equipped with Samsung 1 GHz processor with 512 MB RAM, support 802 .11n Wi-Fi, and the capacity of storage via microSD slot. The Tablet also has a camera of 1.3 megapixel camera on the front and five-megapixel camera on the back.Mitac Ulmo pricing and availability of a tablet Mitac has not yet been announced.
