Sony Ericsson has just announced the first phone from Sony Ericsson’s Walkman series, which runs the Android OS W8. From physical appearance to say W8 use casing/body XPERIA X 8, but with a little extra luxury and the WALKMAN logo color.
Just like his brother, X 8, Sony Ericsson W8 uses touch screen capacitive 3-inches with a resolution of 320 x 480 pixels, 3.5 mm headphone jack, and a 3 .2MP camera. In it there is a single-core processor 600 MHz, with 168MB of RAM. SE W8 will still be running Android 2.1, which is of course unfortunate, because Android in market now hape uses Froyo or even the Gingerbread. However, this is the first Walkman phone running Google’s mobile OS, which will also use UI Timescape. Mobile Walkman W8 will also come with headset stereo Sony Ericsson, MH410.
Sony Ericsson W8 will be available in China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, India, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand and Viet Nam started from Q2 of 2011 in choice of colors-Azure Blue, Red Metallic, and Iconic Orange. The price of SE W8 is unknown at this time.
